The Raspberry PI is an amazing device. Currently, we are working to build small toys powered by the PI for outdoor science fairs. Ideas are welcome! Check out the PI's online magazine, Magpi, for inspiration.

Learn basic geometry and 3D modeling while building a printable CAD Model using PLaSM, an advanced engineering programming language. Students are invited to see their 3D models printed on the University of Nevada's 3D printer at the Engineering Library. 

​

​


​The model car driven by instructions running on a Raspberry PI computer give students a look at the technology that powers their favorite games. This project can be presented at a Science Fair or during a class period.

We are pleased to announce Robot Karel workshops will be held starting in the spring for interested students involving a prepared curriculum. The workshops are to be held at the downtown Reno Children's Discovery Museum.

Math is fun with Zome Tools! Learn and create art and math with Zome Tools' specially designed curriculum for kids. Zome models create amazing jewel-like bubbles.
